She moved into contemporary dance with Singapore Dance Theatre and the Gothenburg Ballet in Sweden, where she performed works by De Frutos, Duato and Tankard. She contributed to choreographic workshops with the Gothenburg company and with Rambert, which she joined in 2006. A versatile and valued performer, she has appeared as a guest artist with Michael Clark Dance Company, Hofesh Shechter and the Balletboyz, as well as with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Sally Marie
(Freelance)

Sally Marie is an appealing, idiosyncratic performer who has collaborated with numerous choreographers, among them Sean Tuan John, Jasmin Vardimon and Luca Silvestrini. She has been remarkable as the insecure central character in Silvestrini’s "Dear Body", aspiring towards the ‘perfect’ shape’. (Protein Dance has toured this production in 2009). She created and performed "The Extra" in the Linbury’s “Firsts” season and has since launched her own company, Sweetshop Revolution. Her work is notable for its humour and compassionate humanity.
