Matthew Dibble
(Twyla Tharp Dance)

Born in Yorkshire, Matthew Dibble trained at the Royal Ballet School from 1988, joining the Royal Ballet in 1994 and being promoted to First Artist in 1997. During his time with the company he danced in many classical ballets and had roles created on him by Ashley Page (Two-Part Invention and Cheating, Lying Stealing) William Tuckett (Puirt-a-beul) and Twyla Tharp (Mr Worldly Wise). In 1999 he became a founding member and Principal dancer of Tetsuya Kumakawa's K Ballet in Japan where he again danced in classical pieces and had work created on him by Adam Cooper, Simon Rice and Haruka Udea. Since joining Twyla Tharp's company Matthew Dibble has earned lavish praise from critics for his refined and superlative dancing in her repertoire.

Fernando Hernando Magadan
(Nederlands Dans Theater 2)

Fernando Hernando Magadan is an outstanding dance artist. Born in Zaragoza, Spain, he trained for six years as a gymnast, honing his physical skills, before training full time in ballet at the Conservatory in Madrid between 1994 and 1997. He travelled to London to continue study at London Studio Centre before completing his training with Central School of Ballet and joining Ballet Central. As a student he was identified as a polished performer of exceptional gifts. Fernando danced for the Santamaria Compania de Danza in Madrid before joining Netherlands Dance Theatre II in March 2001. Fernando Hernando Magadan is a dancer of rare physical gifts and intense musicality who performs in a wide range of choreography for Netherlands Dance Theatre II.

Henry Montes
(Siobhan Davies Dance Company)

Henry Montes has attracted the attention of critics since he began dancing in this country. His performance in Siobhan Davies' Plants and Ghosts last year was universally praised. Born in the Bronx, NYC, he has performed with many important independent choreographers in the USA; and during his sojourn in Germany danced with two of the major figures of German Dance Theatre: Reinhild Hoffmann and Susanne Linke. Since residing in the United Kingdom Montes has performed with the Jonathan Burrows Group (93-98), Rosemary Butcher (95-2002) and with Charles Linehan. He has been a member of Siobhan Davies Dance Company since 1998 and his own choreographic work tours as part of the award winning collective Tanztheater aus der Zeche.
