2003 - Val Bourne (Dance Umbrella)
Now in its 25th year, Dance Umbrella has become the showcase for contemporary dance in Britain - its success down to the vision and drive of Val Bourne.
This is a category where there are no public nominations. The winner was announced at the awards ceremony on the 13 January 2004. Past award winners:
