James Forbat
(English National Ballet)

James Forbat joined English National Ballet straight from the Royal Ballet’s Upper School in 2005. He had already drawn favourable critical comment in his final RBS performance, in Alastair Marriott’s Prelude and Fugue at the Royal Opera House. He has since thrown himself fully into the life of ENB, taking part in the Ballet Rocks! initiative for Sky TV, and making a strong impression in Christopher Hampson’s Sinfonietta Giocosa, and an expressive Mock Turtle in Derek Deane’s Alice.

Martin Harvey
(The Royal Ballet)

A great dance actor, Martin Harvey has been outstanding this season in the title role of Onegin, Rudolf in Mayerling and a newly created role in Alastair Marriott’s Children of Adam. Harvey’s strong technique, powerful physicality and charismatic stage presence have given added lustre to a catalogue of leading parts which include Colas, Mercutio and Lescaut. Harvey is a superb partner. He is currently a Guest Artist with Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Ivan Vasiliev
(Bolshoi Ballet)

At the age of 18, Ivan Vasiliev, the Bolshoi's youngest star, has quickly made his mark, winning top prizes at international competitions and receiving invitations to appear as guest artist with other companies around the world. His artistic exuberance and pyrotechnical feats, seen during the recent Bolshoi season in the UK, have made him one of the most popular dancers around.
