Dominic North
(New Adventures)

Dominic North is nominated for his fine portrayal of the title role in Matthew Bourneís New Adventuresí production of "Edward Scissorhands" at Sadlerís Wells. North has danced a number of roles for Bourne, including Cyril Vane in "Dorian Gray" and the Prince in "Swan Lake", as well as roles in "The Car Man". North is a strong dance-actor and brought depth, dead-pan humour and pathos to his memorable portrayal of Edward, the outsider looking for romantic love and a happy family life.
