Sarah Lamb
(The Royal Ballet)
Sarah Lamb is a native of Boston and trained at the Boston Ballet School with Tatiana Nicolaevna Legat from 1994 -1998 and was accepted into the Boston Ballet where she rose to principal in 2003. A year later, she joined The Royal Ballet, and in 2006, was promoted to principal. Lamb is a lyrical ballerina, bringing delicacy, beauty and insight to all her roles. She has danced many of the major established ballets in The Royal Ballet repertoire and has created several roles, including one in Christopher Wheeldon’s recent work Electric Counterpoint.

Agnes Oaks
(English National Ballet)
Agnes Oaks is a dancer who harmoniously combines physical beauty, artistic refinement and extraordinary musicality with a supremely honed classical technique. Her world famous partnership with her husband Thomas Edur was recognised by the Critics’ Circle with the Outstanding Partnership Award in 2002. Last season she shone in many classical roles and in David Dawson’s A Million Kisses to My Skin. As the outstanding ballerina of English National Ballet she has enchanted audiences and critics in Giselle, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Oaks will retire at the end of this season.

Wendy Whelan
(New York City Ballet)
One of America’s leading ballerinas, Wendy Whelan was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, where her dance training began. In 1982 she became a full-time student at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet. She joined the company in 1986 and was promoted to principal in 1991. Whelan dances a huge variety of roles in the City Ballet repertoire, and during the company’s London season at the Coliseum in 2008 she excelled in Balanchine’s erotically-charged Agon pas de deux, which she danced with Albert Evans.
