Entry to The Angelina Ballerina Children’s Award opens 1 July 2009 and offers young performers aged up to 9 years old the chance to fulfill their dancing dreams. To enter, young dancers will need to send in an audition tape and application form. For full details please follow the link below:

The national award will be judged by a panel of experts from within the dance community including TV presenter and MC for the National Dance Awards, Angela Rippon, Dirty Dancing star and former Royal Ballet dancer, Martin Harvey, English National Ballet choreographer, Antony Dowson, and Katherine Holabird, the author and creator of Angelina Ballerina. 25 young performers from across the country will be shortlisted and invited to audition live in front of the panel of judges in the studios of English National Ballet on 28 October 2009.
